Carbon Reduction Program


The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law of 2021 (BIL) establishes a Carbon Reduction Program. This new federal program provides funding for projects that reduce transportation emissions and requires states to develop comprehensive carbon reduction strategies.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportati​on (WisDOT) has announced the new State Fiscal Year 2023 Carbon Reduction Program solicitation, application materials are available bel​ow. Applications previously received during the State Fiscal Year 2022 solicitation are being reviewed for eligibility.
