WisDOT’s Rustic Roads program features 126 designated and marked backroad destinations throughout the state which provide travelers scenic views along lightly traveled roads. Seen here is Rustic Road 29 in Walworth County. This 2.7-mile loop passes through an area of native vegetation and wildlife near Lake Geneva that is particularly beautiful in autumn.
