WisDOT anticipates the first public involvement for the WIS 16 Corridor to be held in late 2025.
Study overview and locations
The purpose of the WIS 16 study is to develop alternatives that improve safety and address traffic operations concerns where practicable, while addressing existing and projected infrastructure needs through the design year (2050).
- Study Limits: WIS 16 from the WIS 16/Losey Blvd. intersection to the WIS 16/WIS 157 intersection
- Projects in the area:
WIS 16 (US 53 to WIS 35)

- Develop study purpose and identify corridor needs
- Alternative Development - Develop and finalize range of alternatives to address corridor needs
- Initiate public involvement activities
2026
- Alternative Development - Select preferred alternative and present to stakeholders
- Complete environmental study
