Public involvement meeting for US 10 passing lane project in Manitowoc County

​(Reedsville) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region announces a live, online public involvement meeting (PIM) to discuss proposed passing lanes constructed on both eastbound and westbound US 10 in the municipalities of Maple Grove, Rockland, Franklin, and Cato in Manitowoc County. The meeting will be held live, online via Microsoft Teams and accessed through the project website on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 5 p.m.

The purpose of the meeting is to review the need for passing lanes, show the potential highway modifications, obtain comments and feedback on the proposed improvements, discuss possible schedule and traffic impacts, and review WisDOT's tools for businesses in work zones. Attendees can ask questions following the live presentation.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend the meeting to review design alternative details, displays and exhibits, ask questions, and provide comment to assist WisDOT in determining a final design. People can provide comment at the meeting, on the website, and via email or phone. There is also a prepaid US mail comment form on the websites for download.
