Release date: March 18, 2024

To invest in Wisconsin’s transportation system, Governor Evers recently signed a $11.8 million contract to improve US 14 (North Main Street) between High Echo Lane and Locust Street and the US14 (US 61)/WIS 27 (Main Street) intersection in Westby, Vernon County. Zignego is the prime contractor for the project. The project is designed to reconstruct North Main Street between High Echo Lane and Locust Street to two travel lanes, parking lanes, and intersection improvements. The North Main Street and Main Street intersection will be reconstructed into a roundabout.

During construction, the roadway will remain open to traffic with a local detour.
