Pavement work to temporarily close westbound I-94 lane

Closure east of Menomonie to start Monday evening; road to reopen Wednesday

Release date: June 21, 2024

Concrete work will result in the temporary closure of the right, or driving, lane of westbound I-94 east of Menomonie in Dunn County next week.

The lane is expected to close at 6 p.m. Monday, June 24 and reopen by 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 26.

The closure is necessary to tie new concrete pavement on the ramp from westbound I-94 to the Safety and Weight Enforcement Facility in with the existing interstate. The SWEF, one of three in WisDOT’s Northwest Region, is being renovated and expanded this year.
