WisDOT to close lanes on northbound I-94/41 in Racine County next week for bridge maintenance

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is notifying motorists of upcoming lane closures along northbound I-94/41 in Racine County for bridge maintenance. Work is scheduled to begin Monday, August 18, and continue through Thursday, August 21.

Work is scheduled at four bridge locations along northbound I-94/41. The interstate will remain open during this work. Lane closures are scheduled from 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

  • Monday, August 18: Inside lane closures at Braun Road and WIS 11 bridges.
  • Tuesday, August 19: Outside lanes closures at Braun Road and WIS 11 bridges. The WIS 11 off-ramp will also be closed.
  • Wednesday, August 20: Inside lanes closures at Golf Road and County K (Northwestern Avenue) bridges.
  • Thursday, August 21: Outside lanes closures at Golf Road and County K (Northwestern Avenue) bridges.

Motorists can expect delays along northbound I-94/41 during construction. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.

Note: Southbound I-94/41 traffic will not be affected by this work.
