Project finishes on budget

(Green Bay) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region announces completion of construction to improve US 151 between County W and County Q in the town of Malone in Fond du Lac County. Work began in August of this year, and the $693,000 project finishes on budget.
Construction included the replacing existing corrugate metal culvert pipes with reinforced concrete culvert pipes at four locations within a 0.75-mile length of roadway along US 151 between County W and County Q. Radtke Contractors, Inc. from Winneconne Wis. was the Prime Contractor.
Project benefits of replacing of culverts will help ensure adequate drainage to mitigate possible flooding and increase safety for motorists.
