Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) - 2022-2023​ Supplemental Solicitations

Signed on November 15, 2021, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) updates federal law and potential federal funding levels across federally funded Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Local Programs. It is expected that new federal funds will be distributed over the ​next five fiscal years, beginning in Federal Fiscal Year 2022 (FFY 2022).

WisDOT is soliciting construction-only projects for:

  • Surface Transportation Program (STP)
  • Local Bridge Improvement Assistance Program​

Projects should be ready and eligible to leverage FFY 2022 funding. Construction projects must obligate funds by September 30, 2022.​

  • Congestion Mitigation & Air Quality (CMAQ) Improvement Program
