Overview
Proposed improvements include milling and overlaying the existing asphalt surface, along with replacing curb ramp, addressing sidewalk, and adding pedestrian curb ramps and crosswalk at the intersection of Lincoln Street.
Traffic Impacts
US 8 will remain open to traffic during construction. Motorists can expect to encounter single lane closures with flagging operations. Temporary pedestrian facilities will be utilized during sidewalk and curb ramp construction. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained throughout construction process.
Real Estate
All the work for this project is anticipated to occur inside the existing right-of-way. Any additional real estate needed will be identified during the design process.
