First public meeting set for Reimagining WIS 175 Study

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT), in partnership with Milwaukee County and the City of Milwaukee, is hosting a public involvement meeting regarding the Reimagining WIS 175 Study. The meeting is the first of several opportunities for the public to share their comments on the existing conditions of the area between Wisconsin Avenue and Lisbon Avenue, as well as potential future improvements to the corridor.

The meeting will be held in an open-house format with maps and other materials outlining the study area available for viewing. Project representatives will be present to discuss the study’s scope on an individual basis. Those unable to attend are encouraged to share their thoughts online through a virtual comment box and survey located at Details on future public meetings will also be posted.

The meeting facility is transit accessible via Route 33 and is wheelchair accessible. Deaf or hard of hearing persons needing assistance may contact the WisDOT project representative listed below via the Wisconsin Telecommunication Relay System (dial 711).
