Location
US 10 from the Pepin/Buffalo County line in the town of Canton to County A in the city of Mondovi, all in Buffalo County.
Overview
This 5.16-segment of US 10 is showing signs of deterioration through cracking, rutting and patching. Many culverts also need cleaning and repairs. To extend the service life of the highway and maintain safety and acceptable drainage, the following improvements are proposed:
- Milling the pavement surface and overlaying with asphalt
- Replacing guardrail and flattening slopes at guardrail end terminals
- Cleaning, repairing or replacing culvert pipes, as well as cleaning ditches to remove sediment buildup and improve drainage
Schedule
Construction currently is scheduled for 2026.
Traffic Impacts
The work will be completed using lane closures with flagging operations directing motorists through construction.
