WIS 27 from West Boylan Road, northeast of Stone Lake, to 700 feet north of West Carol Drive, southwest of Hayward, all in Sawyer County.

Overview​

Because the pavement, shoulders and culverts on this segment of WIS 27 are deteriorating, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation is planning to:

  • Mill and overlay WIS 27's existing pavement.
  • Place new base aggregate shoulders.
  • Replace or repair and clean nine culverts.

Schedu​​le

  • Construction scheduled to start: 2031
    • Construction could occur as early as 2025 if funds become available.

Traffic I​mpacts

During construction, WIS 27 will remain open to traffic, but motorists can expect single-lane closures controlled by flagging operations.
