Location
WIS 35/64 from 150th Avenue southeast of Somerset to County C south of Somerset and WIS 64 from WIS 35 south of the Somerset village limits to 142nd Street east of New Richmond, all in St. Croix County.
Overview
The existing pavement and shoulders on these segments of highway are showing signs of deterioration. The proposed project will include:
- Performing spot repairs on the existing north- and southbound driving lanes where deterioration exists.
- Resurfacing approximately 0.7 mile of the southbound WIS 35 driving lanes east of County V.
- Resurfacing the existing shoulders.
- Replacing guardrail at structures.
- Installing new pavement marking and shoulder rumble strips.
- Replacing some signage.
- Cleaning or riprapping culvert end walls.

Construction currently is scheduled for 2026.
Traffic Impacts
- Construction will be staged to allow for a single lane of traffic in both directions to remain open at all times.
- Temporary ramp closures will be necessary to facilitate construction.
