Project overview
The purpose of this project is to improve intersection safety. The US 12/ Wittig Road intersection has a high crash rate. The preferred alternative is to install traffic signals and offset left turn lanes to improve sight distance.

- March 2022 - Public Involvement Meeting
- 2024 - Construction anticipated
Traffic impacts/detours
US 12 is anticipated to remain open to traffic during construction. The project will be constructed by utilizing alternating inside/ outside lane closures. Short term side road closures are anticipated.
