​Project overview

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is designing plans for an improvement project on US 14 between Bohmann Drive and County O in Richland Center.​

Project improvements include:

• ​Resurfacing of the highway
• Mill and overlay
• Update curb ramps
• Replace traffic signals at Bohmann Drive and County O intersections
• Replacing the turns lanes at Peebles and Starlight with two-way left-turn lanes
• Guardrail replacement
• Pavement markings

Traffic impacts

The highway will remain open during construction with traffic reduced to a single lane in each direction.

• Limited traffic stops may occur using flagging operations.
• Periodic left-turn closures will occur at select intersections, with traffic routed to nearby intersections for access to side roads and businesses.​​
