WIS 16/County M intersection, West Salem - La Crosse County
Project overview
This is a Highway Safety Improvement Project designed to address the high rate of crashes at the intersection. The project will construct offset left-turn lanes on WIS 16. County M will be resurfaced and marked to designate thru and turn lanes, and new signals installed at the intersection.
Improvements include:
- Left turn lanes
- New pavement
- Pavement markings
- Traffic signals

Traffic impacts/detours
The intersection will remain open using single lane closures during construction. County M will remain open with lane closures and flagging operations.
