WIS 33 (WIS 73 to Forest Street), Fox Lake - Dodge County
Project overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) plans to improve this 4.69 mile section of WIS 33 between Portage and Fox Lake by milling and overlaying the existing asphalt pavement. This treatment is needed to extend the pavement service life.
Additional Improvements include:
- Replacing multiple cross culverts
- Adding centerline and shoulder rumble strips
- Replacing pavement marking

- May 2022 - Public Involvement Meeting
- 2026 - Construction anticipated
Traffic impacts/detours
Traffic will be detoured during construction. The proposed detour will follow WIS 73, US 151, and WIS 33. Access will be maintained during construction for residents and local businesses to the greatest extent possible.
