WIS 19 (Crawfish River Bridge to Gypsy Road), West of Watertown - Dodge and Jefferson Counties

Project overview

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is proposing improvements along 5.4-miles of WIS 19. The project starts at the Crawfish River Bridge and ends 300 feet east of the Gypsy Road intersection.

Proposed Improvements:

  • Existing asphaltic pavement will be milled and overlaid with new asphalt pavement.
  • Work on the Crawfish River Bridge will include concrete surface repair on the abutments and parapets.

There are no temporary or permanent real estate acquisitions, or relocations anticipated with the project.

Persons with a concern for or knowledge about historic buildings and structures and archaeological sites are encouraged to provide comments.

Traffic impacts/detours

The project will be completed using a flagging operation and shoulder closures. No detours are anticipated.
