Degree Programs in Aviation

​​Wisconsin is home to many degree programs and classes that can lead to careers in aviation and aerospace.​

Aviation Degree and Certificate Programs

  • University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh - Oshkosh
    Offers an online bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management that allows graduates of technical or community colleges to advance their degree and career in aviation. Military experience, and FAA ATP and A&P certifications are also considered for admission and credit transfer.
    • Students are able to transfer in previous credits and complete the program fully online.

Additional Aviation and Aerospace Classes

  • Marquette University - Milwaukee
    Offers engineering degree programs and a minor in Air Force Aerospace Studies for students in the Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps Program. The courses are open to all Marquette students
  • University of Wisconsin-Green Bay - Green Bay
    Offers several courses in aviation such as Aviation in the Classroom and Aviation and Aerodynamics for Pilots and Sport Pilots.​
  • University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee - Milwaukee
    Offers a degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering and in Mechanical Engineering, as well as an Aeronautics & Aerospace student organization.
  • University of Wisconsin-River Falls - River Falls
    Offers an Engineering degree with specialization in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics. The degree is offered through partnerships with the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, University of Minnesota-Duluth, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for dual degree engineering programs
