The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) and the
Inter-Tribal Task Force’s annual tribal transportation conference brings together industry, tribal, federal and state officials to discuss transportation programs, business and labor development and cultural and environmental issues. This year’s conference is October 25 and 26 at the Ho-Chunk Casino Hotel in the Wisconsin Dells.
This year’s conference includes presentations about tribal transportation grants, the 1,200-year-old dugout canoe found in Lake Mendota and innovations in transportation, including the development of autonomous vehicles and vertical take-off landing aircraft.
