The Driver's Book is an easy-to-read driver handbook for all applicants, including applicants with reading challenges. It’s a condensed version of the Motorists' Handbook. It is best to study the Motorists’ Handbook, too, if it does not present undue reading challenges to you.
The Driver's Book provides information about rules of the road and safe driving practices that will help you become a safer driver of an automobile or light truck (Class D license).
If you want to obtain a license to drive a commercial vehicle (heavy truck, bus, Class A, B or C), please study the Wisconsin Commercial Driver's Manual.
If you want to obtain a license to operate a motorcycle, please study the Wisconsin Motorcyclists' Handbook.
