The Wisconsin Driver's Book is a large print, condensed version of the Wisconsin Motorists' Handbook intended for use by persons with limited reading proficiency. All other applicants should study the Wisconsin Motorists' Handbook.

The Wisconsin Driver's Book provides basic information about rules of the road and safe driving practices that will help you become a safer driver of an automobile or light truck (Class D license).

If you want to obtain a license to drive a commercial vehicle (heavy truck, bus, Class A, B or C), please study the Wisconsin Commercial Driver's Manual

If you want to obtain a license to operate a motorcycle, please study the Wisconsin Motorcyclists' Handbook.
