Due to blizzard and near-blizzard conditions, WisDOT office buildings including DMV offices are closed for the rest of today – Friday, January 12, 2024 – in the following counties: Door, Kewaunee, Brown, Manitowoc, Marinette, Calumet, Outagamie, Fond du Lac, Shawano, Oconto, Winnebago, Dodge, Sheboygan, Washington, Ozaukee, Waukesha, Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha.
The license plate search application will display the registration expiration date, vehicle year, vehicle make and the renewal reference number (RRN, used for
online renewals). Personal information (name, address, etc.) will not be displayed.
Tips for using the license plate search application:
- Do not use the letter "O" when entering in a plate number; use the number "0."
- Do not use spaces or hyphens when entering the license plate number.
