School name approval

Training schools must adhere to the following naming conventions:

• The DTS Coordinator must approve a driver school name in advance, before an application is submitted. You can email the DTS Coordinator at dotdrvrtrnschool@dot.wi.gov​.

• A school name will be denied if it is found to be duplicative, confusing or fraudulent.

• Use of the word "Wisconsin" or "State" in any firm name is prohibited.​​​
