The world's best racers have competed at this legendary four-mile, 14-turn road circuit since 1955. Along with over 500 events held seasonally at the 640-acre facility, several major motorsports weekends are open to the public. Road America's park-like grounds offer amazing viewing opportunities, numerous camping options, fantastic concessions, and high-speed excitement to hundreds of thousands of spectators each year. The Road America plate is available to anyone for an issuance fee of $15. Personalized plates are available for an additional $15 every year.

- 4,500, 6,000, 8,000 pounds gross weight including dual purpose farm and dual purpose motor home
- 12,000 pounds gross weight farm truck
When you request the Elkhart Lake’s Road America license plate, you pay:
- $15 issuance fee or annual $15 personalized plate fee, if requested
- The regular registration fee for your vehicle if your current plate expires within three months or you do not have plates

How to apply
DMV service centers do
not issue Special or Personalized License Plates you must mail in your application.
To apply for the Elkhart Lake's Road America license plate by mail, please send the following items:
- If the vehicle you wish to register with the Elkhart Lake's Road America license plate is already titled in your name, send:
- A copy of your certificate of registration or show the complete vehicle description on the
MV2998 Elkhart Lake's Road America License Plate and Information Application
- $15 issuance fee or $15 personalized plate fee
- The annual registration fee if the current plates expire with the next three months or you have no plates
- If the vehicle is
not titled in your name, send:
- A completed Wisconsin Title and License Plate Application
MV1, or MV11 for dealer sales, including all fees
- A completed
MV2998 Elkhart Lake's Road America License Plate and Information Application
- $15 issuance fee or $15 personalized plate fee
- The annual registration fee if the current plates expire with the next three months or you have no plates
- Make the check of money order payable to:

Personalizing your Elkhart Lake's Road America license plate is optional. A $15 personalized plate fee is required each year in addition to regular annual registration fee. On the
